theHRshow promises to be a one-of-a-kind event that already has a proven track record of success. Born out of past IHRIM DFW Regional Expos (where over 200 attended a one day version of the show in early 2008 plus over 30 exhibitors), this new multi-day format will build on that momentum.
“The 2008 Talent Management Technology event that HRchitect produced in conjunction with the IHRIM DFW Affinity Group was a huge success,” commented Matt Lafata, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for HRchitect and the Conference Chair for theHRshow. “We have such a passion for educating the HR community on the wonderful world of HR technology and thought what better way than to start a regional show that will quickly become the buzz of the entire industry. We are very excited about the caliber of sessions and opportunities that this show will bring to the HR industry.”
theHRshow web site (thehrshow2009.com) officially launched on December 2, 2008 and a Call for Presentations went out the same day.
theHRshow was created by industry experts and senior level practitioners who know what kind of challenges HR and HRIS professionals face on a daily basis. theHRshow will also include keynotes from well-known speakers as well as over 20 sessions of invaluable information on the puzzling world of HR Technology.
“HRchitect has been asked continually since we chaired the 2006 and 2008 events about when we are going to do it again,” added Rick Fletcher, President of HRchitect. “We’ve taken our time in planning this conference out as we want to make sure the debut of theHRshow is something that people talk about and look forward to year after year. And with the industry’s most affordable attendee registration fee, we expect once again to have the largest turnout of HR technology buyers in this part of the country and encourage vendors to sign up for the exposition hall right away. ”
The Call for Presentations has been issued and senior-level HR practitioners and industry experts are invited to submit proposals for presentations on any topic that will educate and inform today’s HR and HRIS professionals in helping their organizations become more successful through the use of HR technology. theHRshow will touch on many different HR technology areas and those who are chosen to give presentations or participate on panels, will be provided with a unique opportunity to share their knowledge, experience and viewpoints with professionals who will no doubt share that knowledge with others. It will showcase presenters and their organizations to HR and HRIS professionals throughout the world.
“We are expecting a large response to our Call for Presentations and appreciate the early interest shown as we have discussed the conference with a few of our contacts,” added Tiffany Appleby, Director of Marketing for HRchitect and the Director of Communications for theHRshow. “We know it will take some time to select just the right presentations and panelists that our audience will find intriguing and stimulating. We are looking for anything from innovative ideas, success stories, case studies, new and emerging technologies, HR trends, workforce planning issues, talent management initiatives, best practices, and so much more.”
