HRchitect Presents the Beauty Pageant Webinar Series
HRchitect has unparalleled knowledge of the many vendors in the HR technology space and maintains complete vendor neutrality. As the leaders in this marketplace, we feel it is our responsibility to help educate you, the consumer, on the many choices available to you and to help you make sense of the puzzling world of HR technology.
As a result, HRchitect developed and produced a series of webinars focused on the vendor landscape and broken down by different product areas.
Each 90-minute webinar featured 4-6 vendors and was moderated by Matt Lafata, HRchitect's VP of Sales & Marketing. In addition to vendor participation, HRchitect provided an invaluable overview of the Talent Management marketplace along with observations and predictions. We focused on making these webinars informational and fun at the same time. At the end of each webinar, attendees voted on which presentation they enjoyed the most.
HRchitect developed a format to help guide each vendor on an outline of what should be covered during each portion of the pageant. Of course each vendor was free to follow their own format and this was simply a guideline:
Evening gown – To start off each portion, we asked the vendor to come out in their best ‘outfit’ – corporate overview, history, specific identity, financial viability, marquee clients, leadership team, etc. This will be the grand entrance.
Swimsuit – Here the vendors showed some skin in this portion – usability, configurability, etc.
Talent – This portion will covered functionality, technology/integration, global ability, etc.
Interview – This was the Q & A section from the audience.
Although HRchitect crowned a winner at the end of each pageant, based on the votes of the attendees, it is important to note that we did not ask the audience to make a decision as to which product to purchased based on the pageant alone. This beauty pageant was designed to provide exposure to a select group of qualified vendors in a short, informative and fun format. That being said, HRchitect implores anyone contemplating an HR Systems purchase that they go through a software evaluation and selection process with the use of Decision Drivers before making such an important buying decision.
